Reflect on your current management and leadership skills, identify areas that you need to improve upon. This could include communication skills, conflict resolution, delegation, motivation, and so much more.
Once you have identified areas for improvement, get specific and measurable goals that will help you achieve those improvements. For example, if you want to improve your communication skills, you might set a goal to practice active listening in every conversation.
There are many resources available here to help you develop your management and leadership skills, including 1-2-1 mentoring, training courses, workshops, and our easy to access e-learning programs. Seek out resources, courses and programs that work best for you.
Put what you learn into practice and evaluate your progress on a regular basis. This could involve seeking feedback and support from a coach or mentor, reflecting on your own performance, and making adjustments as needed. REPEAT!
